...and another thing

Yesterday was the 60th anniversary of Little Boy being detonated over Hiroshima. I saw a little of the news and they showed footage of a protest march through Sydney CBD, and what caught my eye was this one guy holding a placard boldly stating "No Howard!" Now, surely he could have chosen something a little more poignant, perhaps even something related to said anniversary. But hey, dont want to stand in the way of this dude changing the world and challenging public opinion, past, present or future. So protest on comrade, protest on... I'm probably supposed to say something to the effect of "I've finally done it" -but I havnt been considering it for very long, and im sure that phrase could be employed for myriad situations where it doesnt sound like a poorly scripted teen movie about overcoming acne or some similar physical disability (can only think that maybe after you were to off yourself, but then doubtful you could talk unless perhaps you believe in a conscious and aware form of afterlife). That, and possibly more accurately the fact that I dont care, why then would anyone else, its not as if its something original, entertaining or even stimulating. But for the sake of novelty, lets pretend my motivation for this waste of space was the protestor, so as I could give his statement the publicity it deserves. Now I suppse I should see if there isnt a picture somewhere to illustrate my point, 1000 words and all that.
