Time-sink

Playing with php is not good for your health. Especially if you dont know what you are doing. Ive been trying to get a HIDE tag to run so that members only can view the contents sort of thing, or even using CODE tag to hide text similarly from randoms. But I dont have a forum and getting the scripts to run is a headache. Especially as I, a) don't know what I'm doing, and; b) can't upload php files. I should have it fixed soon, in that there will be that moment where I realise I was doing it all wrong all along, and proceed to throw the computer out the window. Or my hosting sorts itself out and begins to function. -----A little while later----- Sorted it out, I can hide the text from non-registered people, but it wont display the text I want to replace it with. But im going to leave it alone for the now. (Oh yeah, its not for here, ive a couple (i.e. 4) of other projects which are coming together and helping me avoid schoolwork). But I got a new host, and thats trouble free so far, and hoping to move to another better deal soon. Im using WordPress for the others, its taking some mental shift but its pretty damn versatile compared to blogger.
